Last week the Resolve workforce headed out for the yearly Resolve Day, go-karting by day and wining and dining by night.
The Resolve Day tradition has been around for many years now. As a thank you for all our hard work throughout the year, we are treated to a day out of the office to celebrate individual key achievements with awards, certificates and some good old-fashioned fun!
As we couldn’t let our customers down on our rapid SLA response times, the go karting was split over two days to ensure there were still plenty of people around to answer the incoming IT queries during our celebrations. It seems that some of the team are just as fast at go karting as they are at solving IT conundrums! The fastest and most impressive driver was Jude who came in at 1:02.008 seconds for fastest lap, shortly followed by Oliver with 1:03.872 seconds. It was certainly a good team effort by all on the racetrack and lots of fun was had.
Come Friday night the whole Resolve team headed to Sheffield’s Vodka Revolution where we were treated to a lush three course meal and the eagerly awaited Resolve award ceremony. The awards up for grabs included…
The Rising Star Award: The individual who, regardless of age and length of service, has developed the most this year.
Above and Beyond: The individual who has consistently shown dedication, hard work and gone above and beyond in their job.
Customer Service Champion: The individual who has gone all-out to delight our customers, providing consistently great service with an amazing attitude.
The Grand National: The individual who has consistently upheld the values of Resolve, and been an inspiration to those around them.

And because we don’t do things by halves at Resolve, the lucky winners were also presented with a shiny medal to showcase their success.
Other awards of the evening included Best Dressed: Hannah, Funniest Laugh: Andrew and Worst Banter: Shaun to name only a few.
Resolve Day also offers each member of staff the chance to say nice things about their colleagues, all of which are presented on a lovely little certificate.
All in all, Resolve Day is highly regarded amongst the team and a great opportunity for us all to get together outside of the office to celebrate excellence and enjoy each other’s company. The whole team all thoroughly enjoyed the day, and we are already looking forward to next year!
