We are so sure our customers are happy, we publish their responses live on the website. See the live Customer Happiness Report to find out more.

Frequently Asked Questions

Does Resolve support businesses of all sizes?

We support businesses of all shapes and sizes across sectors. Our managed IT support packages are flexible, and we can scale our services to suit your size, but we primarily work with SMEs; organisations with five to 250 members of staff.

What happens if we already have an in-house IT team?

We regularly work alongside IT managers and internal IT teams, providing additional expertise or handling specific areas like cyber security or infrastructure management.

Are Resolve’s services compliant with UK regulations?

Yes, we make sure all of the systems and practices involved in our partnership are fully compliant with UK data protection laws, like GDPR. Our team also stays up to date with evolving IT and cyber security standards.

We are ISO 27001, 9001 and Cyber Essentials Plus approved.

How do I get signed up for an IT support contract?

Either call the office on 0114 2134 555 or complete the Contact Us form. One of our Solutions team will pick it up and get to know your business before recommending which IT support package will work best.

My business relies on bespoke systems and software. Can you still help us?

We have over 20 years’ experience working with hundreds of businesses with all sorts of systems and set-ups, which means we can adapt to a large range of technology. Give us a call on 0114 2134 555 or complete the Contact Us form to discuss your unique requirements.

Do you do PAYG IT support?

Yes. We can provide businesses with ad-hoc IT support should they need more flexible IT assistance.

PAYG support is particularly valuable to smaller businesses or for emergency IT support issues. Visit the PAYG service page for more information or call us on 0114 2134 555 to get set up immediately.

What is meant by managed IT services?

Managed IT services are a package of services that outsource IT to an expert team, who take responsibility for maintaining, monitoring and supporting the business’s IT infrastructure. These services can include things like network management, cyber security, data backup, cloud support, helpdesk assistance and much more depending on your requirements. Many mid-size businesses outsource their IT support because it can be cheaper than hiring internal IT staff and it allows for prudent financial planning as contracts will be agreed up front.

What are the benefits of using managed IT services?

Instead of reacting to problems as they occur, managed service providers (MSPs) work proactively, using tools and expertise to prevent issues, enhance security and ensure systems run smoothly. By relying on managed IT services, businesses can reduce downtime, control costs and focus more on their core operations while leaving the technical complexities to dedicated experts. Read the Benefits of Outsourcing IT Support on our blog to find out more.

We’ve never used a managed service provider before; can you help us to understand our needs?

Yes – as part of our process we begin by finding out more about an organisation, its processes and how work is conducted day-to-day. This allows us to understand your requirements and ensure we propose the right package for you out of the three available: Protected, Proactive, Premium. Call us on 0114 2134 555 or complete the Contact Us form to find out more.

How does onboarding work if we switch to managed IT services?

Onboarding takes around four to six weeks and includes the following:

– Onboarding Project Setup: Adding checklists, creating client documentation and making the information visible to engineers.

– Site Visit: Technical team visits client premises to establish remote access, deploy monitoring tools and remove previous access. This is also a great opportunity to meet the Solutions Consultant and Technical Account Manager (if required).

– Security & Compliance: Configure MFA, M365 Defender policies, email retention and auditing.

– System Integration: Update Resolve internal systems, including detailed documentation.
