The Regional Apprenticeship Awards are part of the prestigious National Apprenticeship Awards, which is now in its 18th year. The National Apprenticeship Awards “have been designed to recognise and reward the achievements of exceptional apprentices, apprenticeship champions and apprenticeship employers.” The awards recognise how “apprenticeships help shape successful lives and build successful businesses across a large and diverse range of sectors. The Awards give both individuals and businesses the chance to showcase the very best in practice across the country.”
Resolve's Apprenticeship Credentials
Resolve is (and always has been) a keen supporter of apprenticeships with apprentices past and present making up 21% of Resolve’s total workforce. Two of Resolve’s first apprentices now actually hold some of the most senior roles within the company. Matt Wornes – who started at Resolve over 10 years ago – has moved through the ranks to become a Technical Specialist, which is the most senior engineer role in the company. Likewise, Kyran Stansfield started as an Install Apprentice in 2012 and is now Resolve’s primary Install Engineer, managing all of the business’s projects.
Needless to say, Apprentices mean a lot to us here at Resolve, and are an important part of our business operations. It was therefore great to hear of our highly commended status in the Regional Apprenticeship Award Ceremony which took place earlier this month.
Our trophy looks very much at home in our awards cabinet, and we are thrilled to receive further recognition for our work with apprentices. We wish the National finalists the best of luck ahead of the awards ceremony on 1st December 2021.
